Talk about Anti cheat

APEX's anti-cheat system detects players who are not cheating. Most of the time people can't solve anything after being banned. They don't send emails. They don't do any verification. They are moody.

    First off, EAC doesn't detect cheaters.  It is a sugar pill to make you think it does, but it doesn't.  Secondly, there aren't any people left at EA working on Apex so that's why you don't get emails or any verification.  You send in a report and it goes into a black hole, never to be seen again.

    I'm sure they "detect" cheaters and ban them, but I'm also sure that the number of undetected cheaters is an order of magnitude larger. I'm also sure that the vast majority of detected cheaters move over to a secondary within SECONDS of receiving their ban. The two problems are inextricably linked. Cut off one head and two more grow in its place. Honestly, the only real lesson to be learned from anti-cheat isn't "don't cheat," it's "don't spend money on the game so that when you get banned you haven't lost anything and can just go on cheating on a new account."
