Teaming is not cheating?Multiple videos show people teaming on r/apexlegends/. Even the most upvoted topic now is promote teaming. I mean in the Battle royale not all kids wanted to kill each other and they teamed up to survive but game developers made a rule as it count as cheating. In apex i can report people for teaming...I reported the topics on reddit because the rules say don't promote cheating. I wrote to the mods asking about it but they said they are not Respawn (what i knew). Basically they are washing their hands of.So how is this, can i team up with others and not get banned? An official statement from the devs should be good.(I hope i won't get the answer "we're not the reddit mods"...)

The game mode makes you drop solo, and the idea at that time is to kill Legends, and then kill Shadows as they come back - so that's the hard part of the game: staying alive until the final 10. Teaming defeats all that and makes it harder for the other players to achieve the stated objectives of the game.

It is cheating having players already premade into a 3-man to 10-man group going around killing survivors sucks so much.Then you think to youself, welp that sucks onto the next game except it happens every game. There will always be premades killing solos which SUCKS.

@iBlockHead +1Yup...That was the biggest problem with solo's... friends teaming up...played 5 matches last night...that was enough for me...every match had guys/gals/friends teaming up and destroying everyone 'til final 10❤️

I don`t know guys. last knight i also played a few and while dropping solo not knowing any 1 in the game. i got another player running with me. at first i did not shoot him so he did not shoot me either. so we killed other players and some Zombies and at the end he escaped and i did not. i don`t know if you can call that cheating.just putting it out there

Do you all think there is also a good blend of players organically teaming up in-game without knowing each other? A mutual agreement to do what it takes to survive?

@hirteIen My honest opinion, it's not really cheating. The final 10 players will be on the same team anyways. Sure it would be annoying coming across a hostile team in shadowfall; getting killed by a team. But from my gameplay yesterday, I only found teams as a shadow.

The thing about teaming, is that shadows can see you guys more easily. I personally don't see anything wrong with people teaming. It's like the walking dead, you do what you can to survive.

In theory, you are cheating by having a teammate, but that doesn't mean you cannot be striked down. Players would focus on the shadow in front of them, and often would be blindsided to another coming up from behind. If everyone is alive, the scenario would be that you stay low and attack when you can. You could shoot at one of their backs, causing mistrust. Although they could be in a call if they manage to join the same game. Still, it's not like solo where there can only be one winner. Shadowfall allows 10 people to escape if they get lucky.

If Respawn says it's cheating, then I can respect that. Otherwise, I don't see an issue.

@Midnight9746 But that is the question, is it cheating? The first part of the game should be solo as it don't let us queue as a team. On the other hand i'm in full support of teaming in all kind of BR games. If only one can win at some point you have to betray your "team mate" and if they are randoms you never know when they try to shoot you in the back.

@hirteIen Considering you are meant to be solo until the final phase, I guess you can consider it cheating but it does not seem like any action is being taken for this issue.

I myself seen players teaming and even saw 7 Pathfinders teaming while there was still 15 players alive.

YES! I support it, no boys or girls shall cry themselfs to sleep, becouse the are not good enough at this game, to get a win alone.

IMHO this is absolutely cheating. It's reportable in most BR's including PUBG, since it allows squads that are larger than intended. There should be a hotfix to allow us to easily report people who use such an unbalanced tactic in the new Halloween game mode particularly. If you're going to be the dirtbag that can't play as intended and win on your own then you don't deserve the win. This is made worse by those who simply camp and use friends to block for them while they get an easy 2-3 badge for no good reason. Complete garbage.

@jumanjaydazed Just experienced it for the first time, and encountered 3 different teams working together before the final 10.

But the shadows were relentless and we dispatched em all and won, it felt good.
