Teammates getting last hit and gets the kill

Why are kills so important for you then? We all know that its the damage dealer that carries the team (in fights that is), and in my community its only embarrassing if you get many kills on low damage when someone else in your squad has few kills on huge damage numbers. We all know that the stat "kills" could be re-named to "last hit" or something and the worth of that stat is only as high as you give it credit for.

And if kills are so important, In the end, the big damage dealers will get more kills than the small damage dealers. Also, the "who get the last hit"-factor is the same for everyone. You "lose" some kills to last hitters but also get some free kills from last hitting right? Statistically it should even itself out in the long run.

Um probably because thats what you do in the game is kill enemies? Or the fact that some people want the 20 kill badge. Or maybe because it looks bad when you have a high amount of damage with no kills especially being a streamer. Not to mention all of the other things I said. The game caters to newbies, campers and people who level their shields up to Red Evo at the replicator. The game takes away from people that actually have skill. Its a slap in the face to everyone who has played from the beginning. If I get all the damage and my team mate gets the last hit on every person I’m fighting because they waited behind like a coward, yes I’m going to be upset about it. Most of the time people aren’t helping me then come in and get the kill while I’m reloading or switching guns. Or they wait until I go down and the enemies revived to go and knock them to take the kill.  If you think the game is about anything else then you are playing the wrong way. I mean seriously thats like playing COD or any other game without getting kills. It just doesnt make sense. Then you have the ones who camp the whole game with no kills while your team has an average of 10+ kills, camp inside or on top of a building waiting for you to come to the circle. The 25% less shields was wonderful in my opinion. Felt like a hardcore mode and those that couldnt keep up just get mowed down. It’s an intense skill based game but now it feels like a childs game. That is my opinion.

@PorkchopsDestinyI agree that it is very frustrating when teammates watch you fight for 10+ seconds and then steal your kill after you've done all the hard work, it doesn't happen once, or twice, but for multiple kills because they can't knock a person to save their life when fighting solo but somehow manage to steal all your kills.

So from this you're telling me apex feels like a "childs game" yet you've played apex since the start and the 25% shield reduction only lasted 3 weeks max, it was an awful change as it meant the movement system was useless, energy guns shredded you in 1s, you was dead before you could reload, or switch weapon, or shut a door (since you get shot through a door anyway), or before you could pop a shield cell, or unable to do anything which took a second to do, like sprinting out of the way of bullets after taking the stun damage from bullets as well as waiting 1second for the transitioning phase from walking to sprinting. That 25% reduction made a huge difference to apex, it was basically warzone at that point. I for one would not have continued to play this game and would have 100% deleted it and not looked back.

The thing is I dont steal peoples kills. I dont go for the kill unless they are downed. Its just respect. 

Well good riddance to those people then. Id be embarrassed to be carried.  Yes it feels like a kids game now, I swear its like people never played before seasons were even a thing. 😂😂😂 These comments prove my point entirely. People cant handle their own in this game, they need to be carried. Sad.

@PorkchopsDestinyApex has to cater to everyone, if you was a level 10 player who just joined the game, would you enjoy getting bullied by 3 stack preds with 20k+ kills each when you're just trying to learn the game? You wouldn't.

A lot of players who play apex aren't as good as the top percentage of players, either they just don't play enough or they aren't gifted with gaming talents.

Yes, most players are unable to play apex without being carried. That is also down to sbmm.

Apex is in the best state it has been in since season 1; all guns are viable, the gameplay feels fluid, players use different legends, you never know who is going to win a fight, the sbmm does need adjusting once again, servers do need updating and bugs and glitches do need fixing, but apart from that this game is perfect. 

You are saying apex feels like a "childs game" yet you've enjoyed apex being a "childs game" for 6 seasons, no? The reduced 25% ttk helped new players, which I'm glad was reverted because it was an awful change. I've also been playing since day 1; apex has come along way since then. 

Well I am pretty sure they fixed the lobbies based on skill level. But then again most people that cant play usually resort to cheating. Im just saying the entire game is nothing like it used to be. If they want to fix all the issues they could just add solos back. Everyone wins.
