Firstly, ratting is a skill with a very high ceiling (let’s not forget about Survey Beacons and Recon Legends), and people who are good at it deserve their rank just as much as those who exceed at movement or fighting. If someone is so good at ratting that they can overcome Diamond’s entry cost and get to Master, hats off to them.
As for the situation you’ve described, teammates with mismatching playstyles are inevitable when you solo queue and disappointment in resulting RP loses is understandable. But sterilizing the game so that it can be played only a single way is not the answer. In my opinion, it would be better to lower entry costs a little bit if you are solo queuing to compensate for occasional mismatches.
