A huge chunk of the playerbase lies in console, yet we still experience the most amount of cheaters it is ridiculous. Cheating devices are commonly used all the time and EA hasnt invested any staff into banning cheaters on console. Creators like Zeus have tried to bring this to light but nothing seems to happen which causes more ppl to leave the game. EA pls get rid of the cheaters and maybe ip ban them
IP bans alone won't change anything. I know there's a huge problem, because things aren't any better on PC. A lot of people in my lobby also use a controller, and I often see 0 recoil and perfect tracking every time (crosshair glued to the target). The problem does not only affect consoles, but also controller users in general.
I know it's probably unrealistic, but if something were legally changed, it would force people/companies to completely stop creating such devices/scripts/configuration files, etc.
That would be the only solution that would automatically "kill" people creating cheating software.
Until the problem is addressed at the source, nothing will ever change. We can hope for "temporary" solutions, but after a few days, weeks, or months, cheaters will come back anyway.
Just like now, it's clear that the ban wave hasn't helped.
