The Clear Divide Between Legit Players and Cheaters

I have been playing Apex since it came out (XBOX). I am a regular player, logging about 6–10 hours per week. Despite this, I’ve only reached the rank of Master twice. I don’t have a team 80% of the time. Here are the things I’ve noticed—and they’re crystal clear to anyone who’s paying attention:

• The ranked matchmaking is broken: As soon as I hit Diamond IV, my lobbies—which should be filled with Diamond players—start including 3-stacks of Predator players. Sometimes there are 3, sometimes up to 10. The most frustrating part? We see fewer Masters players and way more Predators in our matches. Occasionally, we get Gold or Platinum players, but only if they’re queued with a Diamond teammate. Meanwhile, Master and Predator squads get into our lobbies as full 3-stacks of the same rank (Master/Predator). This guarantees a loss for everyone else in the lobby. It’s completely unbalanced and unfair. If there aren’t enough players at their skill level, they should wait longer in queue. Apex shouldn’t ruin the experience for thousands of players just to accommodate a few top-tier players—or worse, cheaters.
• Cronus Zen: There are thousands of console players using the Cronus Zen. This device was originally designed to improve accessibility, allowing players to use alternative input methods instead of a standard Xbox controller. However, only a small percentage of players actually use it for this purpose—many instead exploit it to gain an unfair advantage. Imagine being able to connect a mouse and keyboard (for superior aiming and movement) to your Xbox while also benefiting from aim assist, anti-recoil scripts, and other exploits that enhance weapon control. These modifications make gameplay mechanics feel almost effortless—something that’s humanly impossible with a normal controller. This creates an uneven playing field and ruins the competitive integrity of the game. You see this all the time in Diamond lobbies—getting matched against Predator players.
• Solo Queue Sucks: 3-stack teams dominating solo queue players - no communication or just language barriers making teamwork impossible.
• Why, just WHY does this happen? If I selected Trio mode, and the game knows my team isn’t full, PLEASE put me back in queue. I don’t want to play Trios as a Duo. I don’t care about "points forgiveness"—I want a full team. You ALREADY KNOW during legend select that we’re not a trio… so WHY force us into the match anyway?!"

Are you actually listening to us? Or at the very least, will you acknowledge that these issues have been happening and ruining our gameplay experience for years?

These days, it feels like it's better to be a Gold player - at least the lobbies are balanced and free from cheaters.
