Redeploy balloons being nerfed is pointless. Elite squad is still full of players that camped there way into the game or were carried. Countless bugs. I can't ping within a menu, so I can't request health or ping loot for teammates. Refresh rate between popping shields is too long. The game feels worse than it ever has. Make a rank requirement and a five kill requirement to get into elite squad.
I disagree with your emotionally biased ''The game feels worse than it ever has'' statement, but otherwise, you're right with the whole Elite Squad game mode.
I think it was a great idea with decent execution, but a ''Kills'' quota would be more interesting than ''Top 5'', for sure.
Maybe making Elite Squad requirements a ''Get 3 Kills or be Top 3'' would hit the right spot, then?
If they added 'kills' as a requirement for Elite Queue it would mean that some squads who had finished in the top five or even as 'Champions' would then not qualify.
I guess what will happen is that other challenges with different requirements which may include kills will be added later on. 🤔
@warslag But, like that's the point. If you win without any kills, just by waiting the game to be over with less than 1 kill per squad member, what's the point of calling them Elite, y'now?
I feel like the ''Elite'' part of the game is meant for people who knows how to play (I'd definitely not be one of them lmao), so those that goes for kills and wins the game/finishes in Top 5 with said kills deserves the title of ''Super Monster Awesome Killer Champion of Apex Legend Elite Yes'' include the yes on the title too looool! xD
Edit: My point is to be an Elite you should be good at the game both at surviving and taking others out.
