The Iron Crown Event: Just a predatory monetisation tactic?

@Sarsicool I feel that's the core of what we all want as players. Extra content at a more reasonable price. As you say, you (like many other players) would gladly support the game they enjoy and spend money on the additional content, but only if the prices weren't seemingly the only option for said content. Especially when the increased price for the new items hasn't been specifically justified or explained by the developers.
