@sF_DemonicTim grats man, yeah same here with dt only 1/10 of that. Im happy to get the 2k damage badge recently, something me and my friends compete on.
I guess we've fleshed out the matter extensively enough. I wish a lot of people both from the APEX team and other players read up on it. I would like to make a list of things I would like to happen:
1. That EA/Respawn respond to this and not just brush it aside. It doesn't have to be a change of mechanic to the current event-- what's done is done and I'm sure there's at least some players who didn't mind and actively participated (by buying or grinding) let them have the rewards and exclusivity that was implied.
2. That they improve the shop in general, this has been feedback from awhile back and it could have been a better way to monetize.
3. That they model future events similar to the first "hunt" event where there are grind rewards with tangible (not blocked by a gamble/RNG mechanic) rewards AND paid rewards. If they plan on keeping the gamble/RNG mechanic, as scammy as it may be-- at least provide players with other means to obtain cosmetics (even if these cosmetics aren't the same based on the means to obtain them).
I think that this is a good compromise and I hope that in the coming week or so we get some feedback from the team.
