The new map rotation is terrible for newer players

I started playing apex right when season 4 dropped so all I’ve ever known is Worlds Edge. With the new map rotation, I can only play the map I know, the CURRENT SEASON MAP for an hour every 2 and a half hours. Because I’m a newer player I am severely disadvantaged playing on KC because I’m not familiar with the map and am getting match made with people who are. I was excited about this new update permanently adding duos and trips on KC and WE. I understand EA’s decision to put the maps on rotation to keep wait times slow, but its to a point where I only have hope of winning a game an hour at a time. Personally, I’d much rather wait a few extra seconds for matchmaking if it means i get to choose which map i play on. I love this game, but it’s nearly unplayable for me without WE.

    @sweaty_monke Then get familiar with the map.
    I understand how you feel, but just treat KC like a new map. Look up some guides or something, or just explore it.
    Also, they have brought KC back many times for special events.

    Not only New players disslike this, i played KC and now with the rotation i feel like i play an old game again, i set a timer for the time left for the new map, then i play some other game or watch netflix.

    @sweaty_monkeI understand how you feel, as a new player I would get stomped all the time in kings canyon because I barely knew what weapons to use and all of the legends abilitys not alone having to learn a whole map... and its so much worse for you having to learn Kings canyon in day, night, and also worlds edge...

    What helped me learn the map and weapons was when they introduced solos, before solos I was always getting destroyed but after solos I knew the map well enough and experimented with all of the legends enough that I was able to atleast get kills and help my squadmates in fights, sadly they don’t have solos but the closest thing would be duos it may be better off learning everything for you on duos because there will only be 2 enemies in every fight unless you are third partied but that also means you will only have 1 other player to help you so you will just have to do your best
