There should be a opition to disable the R3 button on ps4 its outrageous how many time i died because of this button during intense fight where i kill 2 player and the 3rd one killed me because i punched air for no reason. It really frustrating and the solution is pretty easy too i really dont use it anyways.
Yup......Been there....too many times. My hands just tense up and hit it when in that situation.
@FatBabyDragon556Whenever I used to punch it was never when I was running away from a fight, sounds like your getting to scared in the moment (scared isn’t the right word) and squeezing the controller and putting too much pressure on the R3 button, for me everytime I would pick up a havoc I would almost always throw out a punch... but havocs are literally one of the easiest guns to control so I had no reason to put pressure on R3 so im not sure why it did that but it seems to be a flaw with a PS4 controller’s design because it never happens on a xbox one controller
There is an Option in the playstation menu to change your button layout for the controller. It was actually invented for disabled people to do the layout the way they need it. Pretty sure you can disable the R3 Button there. You just don‘t have a quick melee button anymore, but who cares, you still can put your weapon to the holster and melee. Would be the best option in my opinion in your case.
+ having the option to switch crouch and melee isn’t good enough, we’ve already gotten used to having crouch on O (PS4) so like, I’ve tried switching them it made it really hard to move the way I do now especially in tense situations. If you ask me there should be an option to make R2 the single melee button when guns are holstered.
Wtf? Where‘s the problem using R2 while guns are holstered?
I really don‘t get it... if the R3 button is such a pain for you guys, just disable it or learn not to press it in a fight. It‘s possible, thousands of players proof this.
