The Serious Issue With Australian Servers

Australian servers are in serious need of some TLC. The quality of the servers themselves isn't the issue (Well, not THIS specific issue), it's the population and how it's handled. There are barely any people playing on the servers. Is this because there are no Australians playing apex? No, it's because all the Australian players CHOOSE to play on Singapore servers with 150ms ping. All of them. If you want to play ranked or duos, then tough luck, because no one is in the queue for them. Why could this be? Here are some possible reasons/fixes:

There are F I V E Australian servers. For reference, there are only two Singaporean servers. No wonder no one is able to find games when the already small population on Australian servers is spread over 5 servers. The entire population could be supported on one, MAYBE two servers. This would condense the player base more and ensure shorter queue times and duos/ranked games.

The lack of an actual matchmaking system. WHY do they tell you how many people are in queue? Why not just give you a time estimate like every other game ever? WHO will stay in the queue if they KNOW that they're the only one in the queue? No one. Literally no one. It's stupid and it needs to go.

Maybe cross play will fix some of these issues, but playing on Australian servers is an overall meh experience and will remain so until this is fixed.
