THERE NEEDS TO BE *(manual from menu)* DC PENALTIES!!!!!!!!!
Have you played LOL before? Me too, it sucks. But they do one thing that I like, penalize people who bail on the squad!
4 games in a row yesterday, and so far 2 games today where people left the squad at the start of a game. Then the other person leaves, leaving you solo... They're taking advantage of it 'cause someone took their fav legend or whatever the excuse is, and they get no penalty for it. A time ban or something (depending what the DC reason was) would be good. Make it so people don't want to DC randomly, Man-up and stick it out!
Edit: Since everybody keeps on bringing up the disconnections lately, I should clarify. I’m not referring to people disconnecting at random because of server issues. I’m referring to people leaving by choice and some have announced doing so which is annoying for everybody else in the squad.
** there can be, and should be a way to find out whether the person leaving the squad was from a disconnection or from manually going to the menu and exiting the game. For those who leave the game at will should be penalized for roughly a 15 minute wait. Before entering another game. It will cut back on people doing it because that time could have been spent during a game. If this is too complex for you, I don’t know what else to say.
@SugondeeezBalls Here's the thing, EVEN if they made it that leaving (without being fully dead) via ingame menu would give a "time penalty" to said player, players would then do exactly like in Dark Souls. In that game you are punished for leaving via the ingame menu, well guess what happened then? Leavers quickly learned new ways to leave without being punished and those ways cannot be caught (unplugging ethernet cable/closing wifi, ALT+F4, etc.) by the game. It's only a tiny itsy bitsy useless bandaid. It's a lost of time for the devs for something that will only work for maybe a day or two.
