Luckily, its totally voluntary to buy those cosmetics. Some people think its worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars just to look pretty this game and its those people's willingness to pay that sets the price for those cometics; its simple supply and demand, and your post, in which you whine like a 5 year old kid in the candy store, just proves that the demand for cosmetics is high to justify those high prices.

If they charged 5$, I'd bet they'd sell way more than 4 times the skins they would at 20$.

If you enjoy your games and their periphery exponentially increasing in price then good for you. Keep dropping tons of cash.
