Those PC/Console Teammates

Honestly, its really annoying having to deal with console players in PC lobbies, mainly since most of them are not afraid to bust out xim, strikepacks, and other cheats/scripts, to then usually cheat along side the PC player(s) who brought them into the match. However, it has become quite clear that EA/Respawn/EasyAntiCheat gives zero cares about the problem.

What would be nice at least, is to NOT get these players as teammates. Everytime I get a console teammate that I didn't party up with, they flat out have bad aim and they just throw the match, even if its ranked, for no reason whatsoever. Typically their PC friend would then cuss me out, but I haven't had that issue of being cussed out, since I changed settings to ONLY allow friend's messages and voice to come through on my end.

Majority of PC players are already dealing with PC cheaters - we do NOT want console cheaters stacked into the same lobby, nor do we want to have to deal with the legit console players as teammates. 9/10 times, the console player I get as a random is a new, casual, or bot player. 

Apex is advertised as a TEAM based game. So far, all I'm seeing is incentives to 1v the whole lobby and leave your teammates in the dust. Randoms run off, console or not. They get knocked, they die, and they start leaving unless its in ranked. The game is designed in such a way that its for whatever reason is encouraging bad sportmanship, and its getting quite annoying. I enjoy the game, but I shouldn't be feeling like uninstalling due to unchecked players ruining the game for others.

On top of this, while this setting is for players wanting to actually join my party, I wish it was ALSO set to randoms I get paired up with:



Its set to "deny all" for a reason. I don't want to deal with console players most of the time, especially while playing ranked.

I played 4 matches today, and so far, each game gave me a console player.

Match 1: Console player threw
Match 2: Console player ran off, and got us all killed
Match 3: Both teammates (console and PC player ran off and got the team killed)
Match 4: Console teammate got our banners and either crashed or dashboarded while in the middle of ring 3

I don't want console players on my team please.

    @Midnight9746Wasn't aware you could cheat on a console?

    I think it's funny how you say console players aim is bad when soo many people are complaining about how the aim assist works too well.

    Also while I can agree that no one wants to add more types of Cheaters into their lobbies, many of the issues you listed don't just fall to console players alone.

    Bad aim, running off ahead? Game throwing? Getting cursed at? Getting disconnected? That's a network issue not console..

    Those depend on the person, not the console. You get pc and console players alike on that front.

    @XxColdFangxX The thing is that people are confusing the strikepacks (modded controllers), and the likes as the "aim assist", when actual aim assist doesn't even provide as much accuracy, nor does it give zero recoil. Xim is something where it tricks the console into thinking a mouse and keyboard is a controller - which gives PC movement and aim assist.

    @Midnight9746How do you tell when someone is using these?
    I tend to chalk most failures to my own inexperience, but how do you tell the difference between a strike pack and normal controller?

    I have never had a teammate on controller that was better than me and I never (at least what I  can remember) get one clipped by a controller player in a way that isnt possible with M+K  =) But with that being said; I dont understand why Respawn even put themselves in this stupid situation to allow controller players into PC lobbies. I mean why? There are certainly enough console players to fill console only lobbies and enough M+K players to fill M+K lobbies so why even create this situation in the first placE?

    You can tell by the sound of some guns, the hemlock and r301 on single first for example, modded controllers fire them literally full auto speed haha... also, if you watch kill cams you can see people shooting 500 plus metres infront of them with r99s etc and there's just no recoil at all. I've always said it's not the aim assist that's the problem, it's the modded controllers.

    @XxColdFangxX strikepacks are so 2020 ... since that AI script appeared some months ago, that uses a capture card and virtual USB "controller", its literally impossible to detect high level cheaters on either Console or PC, you literally have to be in the same room to spot the cheats, bcs they are processed on a different machine.that fight is kinda lost, not even the best EAC could help with that. at the moment it requires quite some investment to pull it off, but since we know that cheaters are willing to pay up to that, good luck finding a cheat free FPS in the future ...
