An "undeniable truth" without much to back it up.
There is plenty of evidence that cheaters are being banned.
Is enough being done? Maybe, maybe not, but cheaters do get actioned, saying that's not the case would be false information.
Where's the evidence?
Is it possible for users to receive feedback in the game about the reported target?
or Do they report on the cheaters they detect periodically?
It's easy to say there's evidence.
but I don't know where the evidence is.

Sometimes players receive a mail that includes whether or not action was taken, but this isn't done for every ban AFAIK.
This is pretty normal for a lot of games, as this is a private matter between the one being reported and the game company.
(Yes the reporter plays a role, but they're not really a central part of it)
Developers @ the Security Team have published some numbers a while back, but I don't think they're allowed to do this anymore.
In a recent tweet from Hideouts:
I see comments and posts saying Anti cheat team should've been laid off. You should know our team sees this and it hurts. There is no empathy shown for those affected by the layoffs nor the work we do day in and day out. There wouldnt be * to talk if we could show you numbers.Source: https://twitter.com/RSPN_Hideouts/status/1768367264657731751
This means that they probably can't show numbers, this is usually done because everything regarding security is usually obscured.
After all, security through obscurity works quite well, even for just pure ban numbers, they most likely have a good reason for doing so.
I get that players are missing a lot of feedback in this area, and it sucks, but it's only natural to make it work more efficiently, even if it seems like nothing is being done.
As other games also apply this, wouldn't this mean that nobody is being widespread across games as not every game publishes this data?
It's not directly a 1 or a 0, just because we can't see it, doesn't mean nothing is being done, if that were the case then the game would be completely unplayable.

Just because we can't see doesn't mean they're not doing anything, but on the contrary, we don't know if they're doing anything or not.
Even if it is not 0 and 1, no one knows whether it is 0 or 0.001.
Especially without "official announcement".
No feedback means no communication.
It makes users feel that devs does not care about this game.
There are bugs in your soup in the restaurant and the kitchen just says they're trying. Are you just convinced by this situation?
Look at the cases of Overwatch and PUBG, They report every week or month. Are they doing useless things? NO.
They are constantly talking about their efforts, and they are gaining the least amount of trust. In order for users to trust developers, developers should show something like that.
Numbers must be shown. To make the game better.
I don't know if the reason for not releasing the numbers is due to technical or internal problems, but the former deserves to be fired, and if it's the latter, the game should just wait for euthanasia. What kind of development can we expect from a company that can't solve that one thing?
