With the new ranked system I am finding teammates are camping more, playing in the ring, and unwilling to help the team survive. Especially with Valkyrie teammates who can reach areas others can't. This used to be where I could avoid the toxic behavior of bad players but now teammates don't care about helping because they know points are guaranteed just to survive.
What do you mean? I guess everyone can have their own definition of "competitive but I think the general definition of "competitive" should be to utilize whatever strategy to gain as much competitive success as possible and right now, camping, playing in the ring and not die just to save an unsavable teammate IS just that. It sucks for solo Qs but hey, Respawn has never cared about solo Qs anyways.
@TyldaaEh, no. Because I'm actually trying to play the game, not abuse mechanics. Besides, ratting the whole time is boring and it wouldn't even be "earned" if I were to do that.
@matzesingtYou do know an ALGs pro player played 50 matches where they didn't fire a single bullet or did any damage, and they made it to pred, right? So, I'm serious. If you just sit there and keep placing top 10, especially top 3, you rank up for doing practically nothing.
