If that really worked then one could say goodbye to many things, like almost all of the streaming platforms, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Netflix etc. This would include gaming like X-box, PSN, Steam, etc. If you lose access to the account you lose the items/games you purchased according to you in Germany.
I still think the items in the event should be cheaper, however I do still think it is the consumers choice to purchase or not.
It is not only the cosmetics that cost to make but the whole LTM goes into that as well, along with the cost of maintaining the game etc etc.

The argument that it isn’t even urs makes it just worse value that doesn’t mean that’s the main reason, the actual value is low even if it was yours.
Bringing up the streaming services kinda shows how much you can get out of low investment…just compare the massive amount of entertainment you get out of a sub there.
Yes apex is a lot of entertainment aswell but you can legit compare the battlepass to the streaming sub.
But again it’s not about the fact that it’s not yours but that item is not worth more than 10€ each lol if even…the price is the problem not that it isn’t urs… investment vs gain, nothing elsesnf since you made the comparison with Netflix imagine:
they release a show in 2 versions one normal one and one with enhanced entertainment, if you wanna watch the enhanced version you have to pay 360€. Imagine the boycott over this and the outrage this would end up on every media Plattform to expose their greed…yet here we are you trying to excuse them by talking about their cost…don’t understand why gamers are so submissive to such a madness
I’m just saying according to German law this is actually atleast in the gteyzone of how much they can overprice their stuff, sure our current government doesn’t do something about it but the day will come where they forbid this madness.
