(Updated) Legend changes I want to see

Aims:

- Make Gibby and Lifeline entirely different Legends but they are both good at keeping the team alive, just in different ways

- Allow Wattson and Crypto to have a fair way to counter each other

- Make Pathfinder more of a scout but make him a little more mobile: 35 seconds cooldown is too much

- Make Bangalore more offensive and less defensive

- Make Loba more support-driven

- Make Octane more team-driven

Legends not included are those who are okay where they are (in my opinion)

Gibraltar

- Remove faster reviving and healing in the dome

- But make the dome last 20 seconds

- Give the ADS shield +10 health

- Adjust its size so his entire upper torso is covered

- Increase radius of Bombardment and make the missiles land quicker

Lifeline

- Merging of Combat Revive and Combat Medic into one passive ability

- D.O.C duration reduced to 12 seconds

- D.O.C healing reduced to 5 health every second so the drone is now just a quick patch-up

- D.O.C charge time reduced to 25/30 seconds

Pathfinder
- Grappling Hook cooldown reduced to 25 seconds

Bangalore
- Rework Creeping Barrage so the missiles land 1.5 seconds after the flare's contact with a solid object

- Instead of exploding after a few seconds make them be triggered similar to a Gas Trap: if shot or touched

- Make the Smoke a little more blinding so it's used more for cover to hide behind, not in

Wattson
- Remove the timer from the Interception Pylon

- Remove the ability to have 3 pylons out at a time

- Give the pylon 90 charges, one charge being consumed every second

- Ultimate Accelerants can be used on a pylon to replenish the charges

- A pylon can use 75 charges to block an EMP blast, but gives the enemy Crypto 75% charge time for another EMP

Octane

- Increase Jump Pad maximum distance

- Allow a lot more of direction control when double jumping

- Rework the Tactical so the stim shot creates a small radius giving the stim's effect to allies in that radius (speed, slow affect removal)

- When Octane is the Jumpmaster he increases team speed by 10% (@031567)

Crypto

- Remove DRONE DETECTED warning (@BBY_YOD4)

- But make the drone's sounds louder and easier to track

Loba

- Fix torso hitbox issue

- Allow Black Market Boutique to pick up friendly banners

- In Duos, Black Market should allow 3 items to be taken so it's 6 items per team in both Trios and Duos

- It only requires one click or button push to take an item

- Give Loba's team the ability to steal Vault and Trial Compartment Loot (however it still does 1 shield damage and sets off the alarm so only one team member can take one vault/compartment item

QOL Improvements than can improve Legends

- Add Ultimate Accelerants to the consumable wheel so they can be requested and used easier

- Make Ultimate Accelerants more common

    Passive Swift Mend:

    Passively Heal

    **Fast Healing**

    OR **Running (Stim) and Healing**

    Tactical: Stim

    Run 40% faster

    ** Throw a stim (like a grenade) at a teammate allowing them to move faster**

    -- Have to throw it before activation or before the stim ends

    Ultimate: Jump-pad

    Fly though the air and double jump

    ** Downed player can hit the jump-pad and fly to a father location (like a geyser or the re-deploys during Winter Express) **

    Honestly there is so many ways to buff Octane: Fast Rez-ing, Fast healing, Speed Boost after Rez, Stim knocks enemies back, Running (Stim) and Healing, Throw-able stims, Jump-pad speed boost, Jump-pad acts as a jump tower, while being jumpmaster you fly faster, or even reduce stim use damage.

    SO MANY POSSIBILITIES (Yes more op than others but I'm sure any of these are do-able) (especially against lifelines now)

  • @031567 Thanks for the feedback! I like your ideas and will add my favourite to the list. 

    @Ionzur I personally think Wraith doesn't need a nerf. The tactical cooldown now makes the ability less of the overpowered get-out-of-jail-free card it was. The portal reduction was also sufficient in my opinion. I'll review Wraith in more detail and decide whether she should need more changes.

  • @CompleatBeetI thought about a way to buff his ultimate while relating to his background.
    1. You can input an ordinance into the jump pad to give it special abilities by throwing it onto the jump pad. It will be in an inactive state until you jump onto the jump pad.
    Frag Grenade: Stuck in the storm and the regular pad ain't cutting it? Well jump on this jump pad mode and you going to fly across the map. Causes you to jump 3x as far.
    Arc Star: Having enemies keep following you? Throw the Arc Star onto the spring and watch as they get paralyzed from your boost! Does 100 damage and slows for 2 seconds.
    Thermite Grenade: Creates a wave of fire around the jump pad, burning enemies.
    Allow for hovering Jump Pads or Jump Pads Sticking to walls.
    Tactical: Allow for temporary stacking of Stim, allowing for a faster movement speed than while regular stim is active, but your base movement speed is lower for a brief period of time if you keep overdosing.
    If you press H, you can throw a fatal dose of Stim that will slow enemies that get splashed by it and will deal 4 damage per second for a total of 10 seconds. causes your ability to be on cooldown for 35 seconds.

    Allow him to jump higher than regular if he holds the spacebar.

  • @CompleatBeet I like a lot what u said about Gibraltar, Loba, Pathfinder, and i like the Idea of Bangalore ult rework, i think it just should be faster and it will be enough. I played Lifeline a lot, i think if u rework DOC as u adviced the ability will be useless, its already not strong at all, because DOC healing is very slow, i think u should make it heal faster, so it can be used while fighting, also i just got an idea, if u put DOC behind the reviving dude, it can heal the guy during the revive, i think its a nice idea, also stacks with Lifeline Combat medic class, u put a shield and revive a guy, u put DOC so it heals the guy while revive, also drone can heal u why u protect this combo standing behind the shield. I think Loba needs a good buff because she`s completly out of game in current state. Also what if we make Octane`s jump pad as his tactical, and make stim his ultimate providing movement buff to all team? I think that will be really interesting for all. Also i would like to see Bloodhound ultimate rework,i really like the legend, but his ultimate sometimes just ruins the game, cause a lot of times u cant see grenade/rockets indicators while in ult. Another good improvement will be making Caustic Traps DIfferent colours like red/blue red for enemy`s and blue for teammate`s like u did with Wattson, that will help a lot.
  • Octanes speed abilities are still sub par to other legends in game at the cost of health IMO and with storm dmg buff he's gunna be seen a lot less. Honestly healing and stiming should work, maybe a nerf to the dmg taken by stim or the duration/ speed percent cuz even tho wraith takes a second to disappear now she can still run as fast as octane while timed and cant be shot in her void. making it a better team use tool overall because you can safely run back to your teammates or find cover somewhere. HITBOX on octane is also still messed up posted sum thing in general figured to put it here. on console he has space above his head that registers as headshots so ducking is impossible due to the fact that it just counts as a headshot. Really frusterating to see in game deliberatly happen to you when a bullet flies over your screen and suddenly you 40 hp and a full team pushing. 

    EDIT: also his passive is really underwhelming when ppl said paths passive is useless I would consider octanes pretty bad too considering it only happens when he's not in combat and it so minuscule that its never really even used or reliable

  • The only one of these changes I can get behind is Bangalore. Increasing the density of her smoke should be very important. Also her Ultimate really needs some rework. While I do like the idea of making them detonate when shot or touched, that’s still far too easy to counter. I think it should act more like Gibs’ where the affected zone is highlighted as a square, and they detonate on impact, though still in the current pattern.

    I made a post regarding Watson you may want to check out too with my thoughts there.

    Loba and Crypto also have a recent post I went into detail on, would be good to check out. I do think they need adjustment.

    Otherwise I must say I think the others are fine as they are.

    @GuardianReaper0 Hi

    I'm pretty sure both Bangalore and Gibraltar will become useless if Gibby's ultimate is just copied and pasted into Bangalore's.

    Although I do see that if the rockets are triggered by bullets or touch it could be easily countered. I'll look into that one.
