Just an idea what if we can use our Legend tokens to purchase heirloom shards so we can get heirlooms for our legends?
Because we all know that opening apex packs have a chance of slim to nothing because I have opened like 10 since they made it to where we have a chance of getting the shards I haven't got nothing like at all
Maybe we can do like 10,000 legend tokens for like 20 shards a piece ?
And do the same exchange system for crafting Materials?

Addressing this topic directly, there are only three ways to use Legend Tokens thus far.
There are glaring flaws to all of these. For starters, the shop recolors can be bought with Legend Tokens, but you need the corresponding base skin to purchase it, which requires Apex Coins (or crafting metal if you unlock it through the loadout tab but they conveniently leave this option out in the shop). Given that you only get a solid week to get the recolor before they vault it, which appears to be permanently, if you can't save up the metal or money for the base, then you're just SOL and your tokens end up collecting dust.
As far as the daily challenges goes, there was a time when I would spend a good chunk of my tokens to keep re-rolling for challenges I can do easily. But now that they've dumb downed the dailies recently, I only ever have to re-roll once or twice if it's legend-related or that annoying "12 assists" daily. Again, tokens end up getting dusty.
And of course, the only other use for tokens is using them to unlock the next legend in the upcoming season... which takes around 3 to 4 months to happen. That's all I need to say on that.
The three ways to spend Legend Tokens in this game are both dull and inconsistent. Respawn could implement far more creative and lucrative ways for us to spend them but don't want to compromise the loot box system and exclusive events to do it. They could very easily allow us to spend huge chunks of our tokens to convert into crafting metal but that would give people a reason not to buy Apex Packs since that's the only way to get metal without the battle passes. It's not the tokens that are useless, it's the methods that require them.
@E9ine_ACThey are as useless as the ‘’ay’’ in ‘’okay’’ when you can simply just say ok... they do absolutely nothing, 99% of the time the skin they make an exclusive for is the opposite of the one I own... literally the last 10+ exclusive skins I have owned just the different variant of the skin.... if they would simply allow both skins to be the requirement (the ones that look the same) the legend token issue wouldn’t be nearly as bad, its dissapointing to log on every week and own the skin but for it to be the other color like last week I have the super star PK skin but requirement was the lone star PK skin, bloodhound skin needed the red one but I had the bronze and blue one, I owned the red crypto skin but the requirement was the black version for the green suit, etc its complete BS since I started the game 1000+ hours ago I have only been able to buy ONE exclusive and sitting on 250k+ Legend Tokens... ive basically quit entirely and probally won’t even finish the battlepass im not even completing dailys now just 1-2 and logged off this game is dead to me between issues like this and lack of game modes theres just no point in logging on if all you get is dissapointment
They are lock behind a pay wall
I have hundreds of thousands of legend tokens and I cannot use them in store and it’s making me want to go elsewhere and tell my friends to also like why have something that is visibly there but not spendable
