You ever hear a joke from that sheltered middle-aged person that thinks they're being taboo, because talking about frogs was bad in 2nd grade, and they never got out of that mindset, so they think anything with a frog in it is worse than cursing? They tell a joke and the entire room cringes while their best friend leans over and tries to explain why the joke isn't funny... that's what ALL of Valkyrie's lines sound like.
Glad im not the only one noticing that ; her lines just dont make sense for her character. Cringe worthiness in a bad way .
Add to that her lines are something a middle aged man might say being very odd and out of place for this Legend ...
Man I thought I was alone, all these valks on my team, she could be getting blasted by 3 teams and she sounds like she is reading an encyclopedia. Just no enthusiasm, and the pilot filter does not help her.
Oof, that’s harsh! 😂 But honestly, some of Valkyrie’s quips feel like classic dad jokes—cringy but kinda endearing in their own way. Some of them hit, some miss, just like a dad trying to be funny at a family dinner. Got any lines you think are the absolute worst?
Even as a Valk main I can't disagree with you. Except for: "Jump pads, gravity lifts, geysers. Is everything you do half-assed?" Which makes me laugh every time. I played Pathfinder for the first fourteen seasons and everything he said was funny, but after a while you have to prioritize gameplay over humor. So out he went.
