It is becoming a pain to use Wattson in ranked this split. Fences are just not as effective and I feel like they break her every update, I am really feeling this bug with her pylon not blocking fuse tactical, arc stars and Bangalore ult when it hits close to the ultimate, very annoying. May have to return to Loba for the rest of it. I hope there are some fixes coming for her, it is just not fair for her ult to be be broke for so long.
@MyName1sNotJohnI almost feel like they are breaking Wattson on purpose to experiment how her win rate changes... first they removed all stun from her fences and now they are testing how strong her ult is without stopping grenades or something and honestly she is useless without an effective ult against grenade spam, caustics, fuses, valkyries, etc
the truth is you could completely remove her ultimate and fences and her win rate wouldn’t change at all... her kit is absolutely useless so useless nobody even uses it I have watched countless streamers use Wattson and do 3k+ damage games without using her abilities at all and even with my own playstyle I don’t bother to use her fences 95% of the time except at the top of ziplines because its the only place they do anything
Wattson’s never been in a good place even back when she had THREE Ultimates to place down with Unlimited Cooldowns, when Crypto was introduced it didn’t necessarily kill her when she got EMP’d but now that she is vulnerable to Grenade Spam, Caustic’s Gas Cannisters and Ultimate, Crypto’s EMP, Fuse’s Knucklecluster’s, Valkyrie’s Tactical, Bangalore/Gibralter Ultimates, etc she just keeps getting weaker and weaker as more counters to her kit are introduced without ever receiving any actual Buffs... she can place 30 Nessies now and regen 0.000000001 shield per tick woopdy doo
@MyName1sNotJohnI don’t even think she was broken with the unlimited pylon because it usually gets destroyed by the enemy team anyways or you would rotate to a different location and some enemy team would just take over the Pylon
I’m honestly not sure about her heirloom its too early to judge until its complete, personally I was kinda wanting this community made lightsaber knife I saw awhile back but I don’t have any heirlooms and likely still won’t have one in Season 20
