What are you developers even getting paid for ?

So me and my mate gold and gold, get a bronze teammate easily clear some people in the map and got 3rded by a trio stack pred (12, 25, 27th) ranked players.

Please get a grib, like what are you developers even getting paid for at this point ?

Make masters+ solo queue only and trio masters+ only filled with masters+ trio players, make seperate ladders for that specific queue of trio masters+.

Being a dev for any kind of software company is better than most game dev companies. The more known the IP "like EA and blizzard" the worse your pay is too in game dev. Cause they can afford to pay you pennies since so many people love the games they make so they wanna make them.

I know one person from an old business client from mine. He was not a developer but he moved to work for EA.

Basically his whole job was to keep up company morale and productivity.

i.e. Some sort of morale officer.

So imagine you can't retain staff with work balance, type of work and salary - You have to hire someone in dedicated role like a counsellor

EA/Ubisoft/Activision looks good on resumes/CV. Once they got that they'll move on. in life you can best of both worlds if you try hard enough. Doing something you love and getting paid for it whether it's working for someone else or starting your own business is viable. Life is too short to do something you don't love and compensate for unhappiness with simply money.

Some might even just contractors on short term work, so can be unstable income even if high income as have to keep finding new job contracts per year. But good for taking long breaks if have minimal financial commitments.

Why bother trying to fix the game, people will still play it. Better they ask someone in creative department to use Adobe to design a skin that takes a day or 2 then sell $160 to a small minority. Some AAA games sell for $50-$60 but takes 3 years to develop. So it's obvious the business model being adopted.

Creative department generates more money for skins. They only need less than few percent to spend money to upkeep all the players playing for free on their servers.

They may not be getting up every morning to make us mad. I don't think anyone is trying to argue that.

The argument comes from the countless updates that either break something completely (ie getting back to the main lobby) or the update simply doesn't fix anything and only adds skins and bs for people to buy - to make them money. This is my biggest complaint - hold out on an update until you test things properly. I would be 100% all in for waiting a week for people to play it and test things before releasing it to the public. You can literally have rando beta testers test it too.
