A small tip I have to share regarding Voice to text chat.

I know that a lot of players think that Toxic players can get away with anything while using voice chat to be abusive to other players and that a lot of players think that there is no way for voice chat to be monitored and or reported on. This belief about that is and has been wrong for a long time.

I encourage all of you to keep reporting abusive players and I have a tip that may help with that.

Enable voice to text, this captures voice chat and displays it in game as text chat and when you report that abusive player it is there on display to be actioned on.

This is however a two edged sword and your voice chat is also converted to text so make sure you are playing nicely with others as should be.

Here you go: click the Settings icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Next, make sure you are on the Gameplay tab, then scroll down to the Accessibility heading and flip the toggle next to Convert incoming voice to chat text to On. Once you have made the change, any spoken content, including your own will be converted and sent via text.

That's it easy peasy and voice chat can be captured as text, is it a perfect system, no, but it works and pretty well at that. Capture that incoming voice chat being converted to text and report the toxic abusive player.

The report system works fine.

I have had quite a few thank you mails and that action was taken notices. 

As far as "legitimacy" is concerned you can take my advice or leave it. That is up to you.

I know that it works. 

@2kysl7kmrsoh Honest recommendation:

Steps to Mute Randoms:
1) Settings
2) Gameplay
3) Scroll down to "communication filter" (near the bottom)
4) Set the communication filter to "friends only" or "no one".

This will keep everyone muted unless you've unmuted them. I've noticed some people I get again as teammates were left unmuted if I had unmuted them and sometimes in a mixtape match at the end, (the game merges everyone on your team's chats), you might hear a few people from the one or two squads you were playing with, but other than that, its radio silent and its so nice not to hear toxic people or read their chats.

I only unmute when I feel like I'm working well with the other two players, that means they're sharing loot, not dropping right with me, they're pinging things but not spamming, we're squadwiping teams as a team, rather than as solos, they don't run away from every fight just to rat or get away, etc.
