For the people that quit or barely play anymore but still visit this sub what was the reason you dropped off from the game?

@Midnight9746I am sort of new, last season was my first, and I fell in love with the game. I realize many of the problems you describe, but I am not interested in playing games if they solve those problems. I am interested in playing Apex (for example) because it has specific mechanics (decent animations, amazing weapon behavior and feels) and aesthetics (e.g., exploration, teamwork, and competition all rolled together).
There are really a bunch of things about Apex I am growing tired of very fast, like fighting the map if you land far from the final ring, trying to stay within the next ring, running against the ring only to be ambushed by waiting teams already setup. I have had several matches where my legend died twice not in battle, but fighting teams and not getting into the next ring fast enough. I was fighting the map more than the other teams and it shouldnt be that way. This is a shooter, not a racing game.
I would love
A) a map about half size with a lobby of 30 solos only (that would be pretty interesting for sniping);
B) AI to replace teammates that quit;
C) half the legends and half the guns so that the sandbox by both becomes reasonable;
D) map exploration mode where others can join but no one can damage anyone else, just explore the map;
E) be able to see damage and kills dealt by my squad during game (without third party tools);
F) more maps in general, the few are getting old;
G) a theater mode like in Halo where you can play back the game and spectate from any angle, slow mo, pause, rewind, etc.;
H) maps developed by the community using a Halo forge like game mode.
Almost like I need to develop my own video game at this point................................
What's about to make me quit is the zero audio, cheaters, and smurfs.
Like I don't hear 99.9% of the enemy players, I'm getting beamed through and/or around walls, players are wall hacking and aimbotting like crazy, and theres too many smurfs ruining the matchmaking as well. People also complain about how console players got aim assist, yeah no the aim assist isn't the problem even though certain settings makes it kinda broken, its the fact that nothing is being done about the use of scripts and things like xim.
The horrible new game modes.
I miss Arenas.
Well said.
Learning where to land and how to rotate is such an underrated skill. If you do not learn it you get Burned.
