Matchmaking isn't something that's fixed in a single update, it will become better over time.
- @XHelperZ its not that the issue is occuring since yesterday ... i dont think it take 3 years to come up with a new one.
Well making a new matchmaking system isn't as simple as just suggesting a different way to do something.
Prototypes have to made and they have to be tested, next to that a lot of data has to be collected to check if it's going the correct direction.
Currently matchmaking might become worse for a lot of users than before they announced they were working on it due to a lot of prototypes that are probably being introduced.
I think it's safe to assume they're actually taking a proper stance and that they are actually going to try to fix the issue, otherwise they wouldn't put out such a blog post.
- @XHelperZ As long as there are a ridiculous amount of hackers and Respawn allows smurfing in ranked, the MM will never be able to do what it is intended. How can it possibly? Do the math on it. The smurf accounts destroy the MM's intentions. Utter garbage to allow smurf accounts in a ranked system.
