- @arcangelrene To add to this, didn't they recently have a dummy mode where everyone fought against training dummies? They could do a solo mode where everyone is just a training dummy for true equality (since some legends would still benefit from low profile/fortified/janky hitboxes). Heck, that would be fun for just a limited time thing XD
- @jokool_aid Yep that is also a good idea. Or another thing they can do is design new legends that could be used exclusively in solos mode. The abilities that they would have should be designed for solos mode. Thats also another possibility among many others.
Why is everyone so hell bent on making Apex just like every other BR?
I hate that argument "Well fortnite, and pubg have other game modes so why doesn't apex!"
Well, because Apex isn't Fortnite or Pubg. Thats why its Apex.
or just throw in the solo mode. i dont care if some legends are not as good as others. just because gibby got a bufff that you can rivive faster in his dome doesnt make him useless in solos at all (thats was one argument of someone against solos Oo). every legend got his advanteges depending on your playstyle, in solo or trio - doesnt matter. i just want to play solooo!!
no need to put so much more work into the solo mode, a few tiny tiny balancing things and we are good to go
- @blkarmphoenix and i hate your argument that apex should be different. i want to play solo mode, and i dont like building in fortnite or the slow, more realistic gameplay in pubg. nobody is saying that apex should be exactly the same as other BRs, no pls not because i love everything about apex, except the part of the missing solo gamemode and maybe duo for some other people.
nobody will be forced to play solo, you can still play trios with stupid, * random teammates who have no clue about the game, dont care for teamplay at all and rather run away than help you... Yeah everybody is either Full or in a match. I have 2 pages worth of "friends" had a main squad one guy had a baby the others playstation malfunctioned. Had another who was cool then got cocky so 4-5 people cut him off because we didnt need him. I get your disposition but unfortunately it fails to address the natural state of the and in turn causes unintentional flaws
If this was a team only based game why do we have match making to begin with? Why cant you load into match only when you have 3 friends?
The reason is because belief that you need Solo's and
Solo quers need Solo's friends just take up space
