The badge says get a 2/3/4/5 win streak in battle royale, not get a win streak in battle royale starting in season 10
Not that I care that much but it kinda make sense that the progress towards a new type of badge should start when its released, not retroactively from day 1 of this games lifetime. Because the game changes all the time and a certain achievement isnt the same then as now. I remember back in S1 in casual; if you played 3-stack premade with 2 other "gamers" during off-hours, you could literally win 8 games in a row. I changed my main in early S3 because I got a Heirloom and even if I've gotten 10 times better than back then, my K/D and Winrate on my old main (S1-S2) is 3.6 and win rate 18% over 3k matches, whereas my current main (S3 to now) has a K/D of 2.4 and win rate of 8%.over 8k matches.
And yes, I think it actually should show when you got badges. At what season and at what level and maybe even rank. Because 20 kill badges is way, waaaay harder to get now a days than back in the early days. Same goes for badge harvesting on smurfs and bronze ranked. Perhaps people wouldnt feel as cool if everyone could hover over your 4k badge and it said "Recieved at lvl 8" =)
- 5 years ago@Balladalidila That’s not true at all I’ve been playing this game since day 1 and my highest win streak by far came in season 9. Also my kd and damage per game has been the highest in the most recent season and got my first 20 kill game in season 5 and my first 4K in season 8

Ok good for you because then you should have no problems in out-performing your past achievements. But regardless of my and your experience of the matter, my main argument still remains. Since gaming conditions then ≠ gaming conditions today, whatever they may be (easier or harder), then you can argue that a badge introduced today, should not include progress from matches then.
Also, I think the main idea behind introducing new badges is to give players new goals to aim for, i.e "new content". So its a bit contradictory to let old achievements count because then, most badges would be awarded immediately when released. without a single game has been played. But like I said; I dont care too much about it; I just point out that it make sense. Anyways; I find it a bit strange that you think this matter is so important that you even create a new account, posting threads about it what I assume based on the title, four days in a row =)
- 5 years ago@Balladalidila I’m sure majority of players don’t have a 3-5 win streak and then Well then maybe they should specify in the badge that it’s season 10 and later
