Whose idea at Respawn was to have that Mirage/Crypto "loser" voiceline ?

Now before ppl who don't main Crypto hop on, I'm talking about long term.

So my boy Crypto already barely gets any content in the Battlepass, whatever. But you had to do him dirty with the voicelines as well?

Legit can't stand that voiceline everytime a random Mirage picks a trident, how about you do that for all the other legends so we can see how people enjoy this in the long term ?

As well as the other one where Mirage literally YELLS and calls you a weirdo or something like that (when a care package drops, if I remember correctly), that voiceline's audio is WAY TOO LOUD. I literally can't hear what's going on around me when he starts his monologue, it's louder than any other voicelines. Again why don't you do the same with Octane shouting at Lifeline to see how the community enjoys this during their gameplay in the long term ? This sht is funny the first couple of times, that's it.

Or give us a way to mute the voicelines then.

I understand that some dudes at Respawn have their issues and really want Mirage to be the super cool guy etc... so they can project. I understand they really want him to be the face of the game etc...  like Blizzard's team did everything to make Mccree and Soldier76 the face of Overwatch. This is classic. Whatevs, do your thing. But is that a reason to ruin others people gaming experience though ?

The first voiceline is actually triggering in the long term and the second one is way too loud.

And also, start writing better voicelines for Crypto too. Whoever's writing them is hella biased and lazy.

Can't believe the "I agree" comeback to Caustic's "Treators don't deserve gratitude" made it through. Can't help but cringe everytime I think that there's a team behind this, that was like "yeah let's go with that, intonation sounds good".

Crypto's slash dive emote is also the only one in the entire game that isn't smooth, the ending animation is clunky.

Who was the person who actually decided to change Crypto's original horrible design (the rasta one from that banner leak in season 3) to the decent current one ? Put that competent person in charge of Crypto man. Fed up of this biased bs.

Quite simimar to Rempart vs Horizon, you release a legend with abilities completely out of meta, and unsurprisingly no one plays her, while releasing on the other hand an Irish legend that has abilities and high mobility that are clearly meant to be meta. Was it McCandlish's idea ?

Like what's the deal here ? Like Rempart is so trash and unbalanced it's ridiculous, can't understand what's the point of releasing a legend that you clearly don't want to take care of.

If you want this game to keep succeeding then allow everyone to have fun, and not just your favorites.

Honestly, I enjoy the lines between the legends. I don't understand why you think it's such a bad idea. The lines literally are there show their personalities.

    Revenant: I'm not thanking you
    Wraith: I didn't ask

Revenant: Don't go thinking I owe you anything
Lifeline: Ugh, dis boy, drop out why don't ya

Bangalore: I guess I have you to thank for this
Revenant: (he says something about keeping Loba in check otherwise he'll kill her)

While you're complaining about Crypto's voicelines, I'm sharing Revenant's because they're the only ones I actually fully remember that shows personalities, oh and kinda Wattson's/Caustic's lines in season 7:

Caustic: I hope one day we could be friends again
Wattson: Those puppy dog eyes aren't working for you

This is literally from the season 5 quest fallout where Wattson found out that Caustic framed Crypto. In season 5, Wattson was hurt and hated them both during season 6. One of season 6's loading screens, was info from Gibraltar, where he said he have given her a letter explaining what she didn't want to hear. After that, Wattson has been real sassy towards Caustic, and it just fits so well.

What I'm saying is, you're having a problem with Crypto's voice lines, because he's the kind of guy who doesn't really care about anyone besides himself. Him calling Mirage an idiot, or witt, is just because he knows he's smarter than Mirage. He also calls him "old man", even though Crypto's is older, because (what I assume) is due to the fact that Mirage's way of talking is that of someone who had forgotten what they're trying to say. "There goes a ba- bam- bambo- fooled them". Mirage calling Crypto a weirdo is because Crypto is a paranoid freak who's always watching everyone else because he's trying to keep his own back covered.

It doesn't seem like Respawn is being biased, it just seems like you don't like legends having personalities.
