Why Apex is worst game to play solo?

It is true that many ex-diamonds, more precisely hardstuck diamond 4s, now will start to struggle soloing though Gold.... But THAT is generally just a good thing because way, waaaay to many hardstuck diamond4s in the old system was so far behind the average diamond skill level when it comes to pure Apex skills that they had no business being there in the first place. We must just accept that the old system was way to easy to climb just by playing passively and playing alot and we must therefore totally forget what rank we was in that system.

Ive seen so many on my discord channel with less than 1 overall KD (including early quits) who used to reach just "hardstuck D4" before and now is soooo angry with the new system because they struggle in gold... I just wanna tell them that their actual skill in this game IS gold and always has been.  I peaked at Master hardstuck 10.000 RP in the old system but now, my new "true" rank is mid platinum (which seems to be the same lobby as master/pred hrmm?) and that makes absolute sense. I am clearly above average skilled (several 4ks banners etc) but not a hardcore pro gamer and I was NEVER supposed to be master in the first place. It was just a bad system before.

This doesnt mean that I think the ranked system is perfect now. Not by a long shot but at least it starts to separate the wheat from the chaff early on in ranked which wasnt the case in the old system until like Plat/D4. 

I understand what your saying about the hard stuck D4S, But a lot of the reason that most are D4 or was D4 including myself is that after D4 you need a team, its was nothing but 3 stack sweats above D4 , And a lot of players didn't have a team run in diamond , I myself have several 4k/20 bombs but I don't have a team so i usually run up to D4 then swap to another account, just to do battle pass and mess around with pubs..But this season, for some reason the teammates we are getting even thru silver was a total nightmare, I mean i had to explain what the Wattson ULT did in a gold match the other day, now come on lol

Couldnt agree more. This game has a "solo peak rank" and a "premade squad peak rank". Whats happened in this new rank system is that both the solo and the premade squad peak ranks have gone down one or two divisions for most players. In the old rank system, my solo peak was D4 and my premade squad peak was Master (but the way there wasnt pretty). In the new system I can solo grind through Gold but will get totally hardstuck if I try to solo in Plat. With a premade squad I can go further i Plat and MAYBE reach Diamond4 if we really grind and tryhard but most likely not since the number of predators in those lobbies are just too hard for me.

So when people say that ranked has gotten worse for solo, I partly agree but I also think that every players peak solo rank just gone down one or two steps, which just mean a readjusted ranked system but not necciserly a worse.

But one think that is strange though is that my solo grind from Bronze4 to Gold4 ended me with 1160 average dmg dealt per match but only 1.7 K/D, compared to my overall average dmg dealt of 740 and 2.6 K/D (included all my early leaves).  And just like you, I feel like the average skill level of the teammates is lower now and this would explain my higher dmg dealt and lower K/D. I do tons of damage on the enemies but my squad is too bad to win the fight etc. Seems like the matchmaking allows squads to be formed by anything between Rookie and Gold in this new matchmaking system, which IMO is a bad thing.

3 years later and nothing has changed. Game is even worse with smaller playerbase... Rotating game mode that one taht includes deathmatch and control is even worse than ranked and pubs, you always get handless teammates and every game is one-sided stomp...

I would rather be thrown into the pool full of bullet ants than to solo-play this game.
