Why can't we revive in Drone View? (Crypto)

I don't know.  But it would make sense with Ash, Pathfinder, and Revenant.  Not like syringe and med kits make any sense.  But given that you retrieve data cards to use at respawn beacons, all the characters are effectively in a virtual world, so no one dies.  Ultimately, that could make Crypto too powerful while they want all to have skin in the game (aka danger) of reviving team mates.  Although, Crypto is tied up in his drone to do anything else.  So ... uniformity reasons for game design.

Because when I first got him, I thought I was able to revive in drone view. That I was using drone to revive my Lifeline like I would manually, but drone instead of myself there.

I believe lifeline was slain and drone was destroyed that time, but I remember doing that.

I got Crypto for free by logging in that day. Anniversary I think?

The whole point of the drone it to do go into the fray without endangering your actual self. Banners, respawns, recons, EMP, but no revive?

The drone is flimsy, and both are easy targets while reviving. Why not let it happen? Everything is already there, just flip the switch on.

Too many people die because of cocky drone revives? I guess that's a good reason to disable it, but let me know about that so I know why it's no more.

Crypto getting more revives than other characters? At least someone can make revives.

I still prefer NewCastle for reviving though. Shield = awesome. Mobility = good. Golden Knockdown Shield = Top Notch.

Or is that a Crypto+Lifeline crew perk? Is he only able to do that to Lifeline? Is he only able to do that when Lifeline is on his team?

I'll need to test that again then, in live match, because it doesn't work in gun range.
