Why do we still have to loot

Honestly looting sucks... picking up 20 stacks of ammo sucks... i don't care if you think luck is an essential part of the game. It shouldn't be. I don't want to drop and find 4 p2020 for ten rounds straight. I don't want to drop on a mozambique and white armor while the guy next to me gets the purple shield and a pk.

I don't want to loose a game because my enemy was lucky and found the better weapon.

Its like oh you found a r99 pls hit every single shot of your mag because a lightmag is too much to ask for while the pk goes 121+99=you are dead.

Pls just balance the weapons ,give us unlimited shields(cells), 60 stacks of ammo instead of 20stacks, make evos and bagpacks upgrade with the ring.

@Mortal-sanLuck certainly plays a role in this game, but it is far from a completely luck-based game. What it is is a game filled with people who play BR because it's "the thing" when what they really want, like you, is a "balanced" arena shooter like Halo.Rather than bemoan the role of luck in looter-shooters, you could take your focus off of gun skills for a few moments, and re-focus on tactics and strategies that actively reduce the role of luck in the game. There are a lot of ways to do this, but I'm sure you'd hate them all because they have nothing to do with shooting, they slow the pace of engagement, and you would undoubtedly find it "boring."If you're unable to accept that hot drops = luck, and that cold drops, judicious looting, and waiting to strike until the odds are in your favor, are a far more successful way to play, then it may just be that battle royale is not for you.

I concur. Have been playing since season 2/3 ? and having to loot for the 10 millionth time is getting old and boring.

This game would be even greater if you land with a picked preset consisting of a basic setup.

Or at least start with a pistol and some ammo. You already start with some shield cells these days (great initiative). But why not at least,start with a pistol. Not being able to find a weapon in the beginning is so dumb in a shooter game.

This game is garbage at looting. Enjoy that P2020 or Mozambique for the 100,000th time. The algorithm isn't luck based. Everytime I drop and pick a random loot bin, theres guaranteed a P2020 or Mozambique. This game forces trash weapons on players it hates. Meanwhile TimmyTwoShots gets a Wingman on drop and hits every shot. Its getting lame and Season 12 might be it for me.

I do like the battle royale game mode i played it since it was in minecraft after 'the hunger games' came out... the thing is i don't want to loot 4 trash spots to be underlooted af so i can't even fight properly because i have no heals. Halo is not balanced at all the whole game is about picking up "OP" guns from certain pionts (like carepackage guns)

I don't want to die to a spitfire because my enemy was 'lucky' and i wasn't.

But here is the thing if you find a pk on drop one stack of ammo will be sufficient to wipe like 2 squads if you pick an r99 with a stack of ammo good luck killing 2 ppl with that...

Good luck with your tactics when the pred squad jumppads on you.
