Why shotguns don't belong in Apex Legends

Let me criticize shotguns in a whole, rather than pointing out the overuse of Mastiff/EVA-8. Shotguns in a traditional sense are dangerous, but only when two requirements are met: you're close enoug...

@Hapsdogedori The amount of times I get killed by a sniper weapon in contrast to the amount of times I get killed by a shotgun is like a comparison between the Mariana Trench and the mount everest. In my countless hours I haven't even died to a Kraber yet. But EVA-8? Ho boy. Dem number goes into the thousands probably.

@Peri_Longbow_plz yeah i get that...but i really think there should be weapons that can take out guns like wingman, r301, bow and spitfire in a close range fight.

So that the isnt about who gets the best long ranged gun
