Most weapons can kill a player within seconds if the player knows how to aim, this game would be boring if you was dead at the moment somebody saw you. Players would camp the hell out of this game if ttk was low enough for campers to oneshot players that move around. TTK is pretty low when you're up against players that aim really well.

OMG stop the bullsh!t and read.
NO ONE want's 1HK weapons. Just for tactics and flanking to actually work.
God people stop exaggerating to try and make your point.

I'm not using pro-players as my only example. I'm decidedly average, and I vastly prefer the longer TTK.
My aim is mediocre at best. I'm more of a League of Legends and SC2 strategy game player. PUBG is the first FPS I clocked reasonable hours in. I *massively* prefer the longer TTK of Apex over PUBG.. I think there are many more "mediocre aim" players like me, than hardcore people who whine about wanting super low TTK so they can go solo insta-kill kids...
Also, higher TTK makes aimbots a bit less powerful. When it only takes 2 bullets to kill, an aimbot insta kills someone before they can even try to move.
Only time will tell. However, I'm not worried about APEX popularity. It's going to be a sensation. And I hope they keep the team-only and high-TTK formats.
- 7 years agoExplain Kraber and point blank Peace Keeper. Both are 1HK weaps, (1 hit knock but essentially the same if you don't play with good players or a premade)
- 7 years agoKraber is kraber.. a rare weapon.
IMO peacemaker needs a nerf. 2-3 shot clip would be a good start. It also needs a range nerf.. either straight dmg falloff or pellet spray hitbox nerf (make choked spray like curre t normal, and normal even bigger)
