I throughly enjoy the wildcard game mode. It’s really the only game mode I enjoy playing. But playing on King’s Canyon again and again does truthfully get to a point. I really hope the developer team is working on making different maps for the Wildcard game mode. Personally, I would love to see Storm Point have a Wildcard map!
I'm sure they're hard at work Wildcarding other maps, but even if they aren't I'll tell what they definitely are doing: They definitely are getting ready to start importing some pretty big Wildcard features into the main game. I give it two seasons at the most before trios adopts unlimited respawning until full squad wipe. I'm less sure about the simplified looting, but wouldn't be surprised at all if that makes its way into trios as well. Everything they've been doing lately is about making the matches move faster, making the players move faster, and eliminating negative consequences for rash or novice behavior. They will continue to water down the game until it almost perfectly resembles team deathmatch with a small circle. That's all it will be. And the children who play this game will eat it up with a spoon. And the adults in the room, if there are any left, will have to move on to BF or CoD or some other dumpster fire game where we start complaining again about how the game is too forgiving to bad players, and too fast for anyone over the age of 15 who isn't popping half a bottle of Adderall before every session.
