Wingman feedback

As far as I know, there never have been any changes to weapons yet, so I expect them to make changes in a future patch. The developers have a lot of data from players and they will most surely see when a weapon is very over-powered compared to others. Quite likely that weapons will receive changes with such a patch, so be sure to look out for them!

Yup, I have over 100 hours played and only use the wingman to be competitive. Nothing ruins a game faster than a guy with 3.5k kills with the wingman/peacekeeper combo. Peoples common defense responses include, "Get good with aiming and you can do it too." Or it shouldnt be nerfed, blah blah blah. At the end of the day the gun is broken and we all know it. Most 3 man squads who win games are all using the wingman. They see someone and they non ADS spam left click and yah die. Theres literally barely any skill involved. Infact the main reason I stop playing for the day is after getting wingmanned 15 times in a row. Im confident it will be fixed soon, and if not, I will go find another game. Cheers.

If they don't fix it there is no point continuing to play the game. I'll give it until they introduce balance changes. 

I played for around 200 hours I think I'm pretty good at the game, but the benefits of using that gun puts you at a disadvantage if you don't use it, high ammo capacity, high damage, high fire rate, able to strafe side to side and not get hit as easily compared to other guns, way too accurate with hip fire.

Dmg nerf no. Possibly rate of fire, or make the gun less common. Buff other weapons stock ammo capacity (R-99/R-301). I have no issue fighting aginst someone using Wingman/Peacekeeper, but everyone and their dead grandmother does. I don't get it lol

I like the Wingman's current balance, but then again hand cannons tend to be my best weapon in any game so I am probably biased here. I understand lots of people think the Wingman needs a nerf but I think this games balance is great as it is and I really don't want them to change anything. Personally I haven't had an issue fighting squads with wingmans or peacekeepers and I've had great success winning with guns besides those two as well. Maybe adding new weapons is a happy medium for both people who want balancing and people who don't -- new weapons shouldn't affect the current balance too much provided they add more item spawns as well. I would hate to see this game pull a Destiny 1 where everyone complains about the next strongest weapon and the next best weapon is constantly  'balanced' to death until the entire game is boring.

Ask yourself two questions.

1.  Should a revolver get extended magazine?  Think about this a revolver.....

2.  Be honest with yourself what’s your % chance you have to beat a team 1vs3 with wingman now compare that to your confidence level without.

oh and for good measure google “apex legends wingman”. What % of these posts, links, topics, videos revolve around anything but needs nerf.

If Wingman is left unchanged, it should be as rare as a Triple Take.

Otherwise it would make sense toremove extended magazine, the weapon isn't even magazine fed.

Adapt? Adapt to getting killed in 2-3 shots by a gun in less than a second. No other gun has the kill speed of the wingman and its very easy to use. It's not like the Deagle in CSGO which is very hard to use and requires a good amount of practice. The wingman needs a serious nerf, loss of its mods and 10 damage to make it a headshot weapon that rewards consistently good aim/players. Why reward mediocre-bad players who can just spam 12 bullets and kill anyone with luck.
