@Kinesis862 From what I understand, you are saying you don’t like playing worlds edge, because it is to clustered. It is the second largest map, and I think as long as you don’t drop fragment, you won’t die to quick. On every map there will most likely be a squad landing next to you. That is the nature of the game. If you want a place to yourself, I find geyser is usually empty for most of the game.

@BigMacAttack8uThe issue is not so much that the map is clustered, but the loot it so heavily clustered. Storm point had a number of places you could drop and leave with atleast a team of blue body shields and weapons. World's edge seems to have such a bad loot distribution that unless you drop at the handful of major sites, you end up with maybe one blue shield on the team an no weapon sights. It results in people all clustering into the bigger areas because that is where all basic needs loot is. If you drop an outpost you usually end up at a massive disadvantage when you first get an encounter, an issue storm point also did not have. Storm point had armories and nests you could attack for gear even if you did not drop in the large spots. You had plenty of options to the viable common gear loadout, but storm point does not have that.

So the result is... hot drops. Even when you are not trying to hotdrop just landing at ANY major zone is a good chance of being a hotdrop of at least one other team. Its to the point I am actually leaning to drop backwards to the spots people don't chose.

  @Kinesis862 I never said it was clustered, was stating what I gathered from @Kinesis862 post. I believe it is not clustered (because it is the second largest map) in fact I would prefer it was more clustered, I don’t like big maps. I don’t think you should have to traverse a field to get to every POI. The loot on worlds edge is just all trash. Even in fragment it is poor, the only way to get good loot is hot dropping, going to trials or care packages. The simple fact of it is other maps just have better loot. Loot distribution is not the problem, the other places just need better loot, you don’t need to spread a single hot drops loot around like it’s butter. It’s loot tier that needs changing. Also there are no tiny out posts, thermal, overlook and big maud/lava city are all big POIs, they are just overlooked by everyone. They are great places to land, and then you ave all the loot to only your squad. A lot of people just don’t have the brain cells to take advantage of it. If you don’t find a purple item in an entire POI, that would be an anomaly. As long as you don’t drop fragment you will be fine, you have the same loot as them. The one victorious squad if fragment has a better shield than you, because they did damage, while you sat in the edges with your blue shield.
