@BigMacAttack8uThe issue is not so much that the map is clustered, but the loot it so heavily clustered. Storm point had a number of places you could drop and leave with atleast a team of blue body shields and weapons. World's edge seems to have such a bad loot distribution that unless you drop at the handful of major sites, you end up with maybe one blue shield on the team an no weapon sights. It results in people all clustering into the bigger areas because that is where all basic needs loot is. If you drop an outpost you usually end up at a massive disadvantage when you first get an encounter, an issue storm point also did not have. Storm point had armories and nests you could attack for gear even if you did not drop in the large spots. You had plenty of options to the viable common gear loadout, but storm point does not have that.
So the result is... hot drops. Even when you are not trying to hotdrop just landing at ANY major zone is a good chance of being a hotdrop of at least one other team. Its to the point I am actually leaning to drop backwards to the spots people don't chose.
