World's Edge is fine, get over it
King's Canyon is fine too. People need to relax.
It's not always awesome versus suck, that's a bunch of internet hyperbole nonsense.
World's Edge happens to be different, and that's it. I like it better. Some people like King's Canyon better. Both maps are fun and neither is a disaster.
All you're going to do about having it be a problem is be miserable playing this game when you can't have the map you want. But if you keep coming back, then regardless of your preference, the game is good enough to keep playing.
I don't see the problem. World's Edge asks people to play differently, with some tighter spaces, accompanied by longer distances that make sniper rifles actually useful. Places like the train yard and the cities see way more interesting multi-dimensional fights. The train itself is a worthwhile hotspot that is far better than the slowly moving platforms from season 1+ of King's Canyon.
And there's no way Apex is going to retire a map they put so much work into.
All there may be to do is have a rotation, but that's already being done in a way. If you want to play King's Canyon right now, go play Deja Loot, it's there to play. Otherwise, I'd suggest start finding ways to enjoy World's Edge because it's good and it's here to stay.
