Wraith needs a buff and Pathfinder needs a nerf.

Hello! I play this game very much every day. Wraith got a nerf, even if she was not OP at all. I think she actually needed a buff and not a nerf again? The only thing people were complaining about was her hitbox and Respawn chose to do an unnecessary nerf. BUT Pathfinder the most OP character in the game remains untouched? He is too OP and has so many advantages over all the other characters. His grapple is very OP and it takes him a very long range, it has a very short cooldown. His grapple can take all the highground ever and it just is too good. His passive is one of the best in the game. He has a short cooldown on his tactical ability and it takes u extreme ranges. Wraiths tactical makes her slower and it gets nerfed? And the tactical ultimate combo gets nerf.   I think all the charachters should be stabilized and all of them should be played as much, it is NOT stabilized right now. Right now people only play Pathfinder because he is too good. And thats why i think that Respawn should buff Wraith and nerf Pathfinder.

  • @shrood69420 Pathfinder is not an issue for me I could even say he's weak. High ground is not good if you can't aim buddy. You need to understand every legend has disadvantages and advantages that no other legend has. Just because a player uses there tactical effectively does not mean there legend is to strong.
  • This will likely be a very unpopular idea, but... I think Wraith needs to have her size increased. Her tiny hitbox was a mistake, and no matter how much they nerf her abilities, that hitbox will remain an issue. Increase her size (both model and hitbox) by ~10-15%, or however much is needed to bring her up to Lifeline in size, and THEN they can look into buffing her abilities again.

Pathfinder needs a couple of seconds longer CD on his tactical. Maybe nerf its speed too, particularly at the start, so... Essentially slower acceleration. Means you'll be vulnerable to fire for a brief moment right after grappling something, before you can get up to speed. This slightly nerfs its use to instantly dodge fire, while still remaining as the by far the best repositioning ability in the game.

The core issue with each character, in my personal opinion, is that Wraith has too good of a hitbox, and Pathfinder has too good instant mobility in combat, too often. There's a reason why in any given game, half of all players are Pathfinders and Wraiths, and if there was no limit of only one per squad, you could bet the pickrate would be even higher!

    My source on pickrates

Scroll down to "Legends Comparison", the second section, and select all legends. You can immediately tell that Wraith and Path are just leagues above everyone else in popularity.

Keep in mind that those numbers are based per player, not per squad, meaning that the highest possible pickrate is 33.3%, which means every single squad has that legend. Which means...

Wraith (~27-29% pick) is in ~80-87% of all squads

Pathfinder (~21-24% pick) is in ~63-72% of all squads

Also means that their combined pickrate is ~50%, meaning that out of the 60 players in a match, roughly 30 will be Pathfinder or Wraith.

  • Wraith definitely needs a buff. Her passive is basically useless, her ult is a very short distance, and her hitbox is not at all bad. PF, PF, he needs a HUGE nerf to his hitbox. I cannot hit him at point blank because it is like trying to hit a stick. Even PK does <70 damage point blank without choke.

I think her passive should allow you to move A LOT faster, like faster than octane, OR increase the time it lasts. I can follow wraith through her passive until it ends and drop her instantly. PF, he can zip around on that damn grapple and maybe do 40 damage with a spitfire.

I agree with OP. Wraith needs a buff and PF needs a hard nerf
