I don't think the character with the highest pickrate (around 23% good lord), who is almost universally considered far and away the best character in the game, needs any buffs.
What next? Do crypto and revenant need nerfs or something?
I think wraith's kit as is, is pretty high tier
her passive is great for rounding out your awareness and knowledge of enemy positioning. Her tactical, despite what you and a lot of other wraith mains seem to think, is high tier and allows wraith to avoid Arc Stars, Caustic Gas, Frag Grenades, Thermites, Bangalore Ults, and Gibby Ults in a way nobody else can. That warm up animation is there for a reason. Instant phaseshift was cancerous in titanfall 2. She is the only other character other than octane who can transport downed teammates with her ult.
And that's just her kit. Not even the real reason most wraith players stick with her, which is her hitbox and animation sets. It's not just that wraith is small, but she exacerbates the issue by bending over like a hunchback in most animations. As is I am confident that even if wraith didnt even have a kit at all people would still play her for her hitbox and animation set alone.

Yes it is. Even ImperialHal said it recently on one of his streams. No one at highest level will play a legend, just because she is fun or good looking. Why you use her? Because she is the most OP character in the game, allow you to be aggressive and i can easily push a fight and i can easily get out of it, because of her phase. 😬

Her portal is one of the best ultimate in the game if you know what you are doing.
Her phase is one of the best tactical in the game if you know what you are doing.
You obviously don`t know what you are doing, and i can said that, just by seing what you are typing.
I main Bangalore, but i played Wraith for a bit. And Wraith is like 10x better compare to Bangalore.
Her phase allow you for so much things. But you should know what you are doing, aka have brain and actually think while playing. Same with Pathfinder grapple.
Her phase was nerfed to not be a, aka i`m dead, but i click q and i`m alive and back in action at full hp, this was completely broken. Thats why they change it.
You can get out of shots with her phase, you can retreat out of battle, heal and come back. You can actually avoid all grenades, enemies ultimate, aka Bangalore and Gibraltar for example with her phase. Only this is extremely OP and usefulness.
But in a competitive plays, you can go out and scout for your team, and then get away with the phase.
You can portal your whole team to a good place, using the phase, during your portal, without even getting a shot.
Yeah you can`t rush like a noob enemy team and to press Q and just escape, heal comeback and do the same. It was not the purpose of the skill, same with Pathfinder grapple.
And thats the reason they nerf it.
If you think Wraith ultimate or tactical are not good enough, go watch Hal a bit, and you will understand how OP is it.
