Peacekeeper was good even before buff and needed none in my oppinion. It's easy to use and is not a skill based weapon, so i dont get the buff at all. Eva-8 and the horrible Moz was ok with having a buff.
With these buffs and nerfs we need a few words on why and how they are thinking.
They should go to the pro players asking for help and advice. Working side to side will help them doing the right thing from the beginning.
If they can invite them and fly them to a place to try season 3 before everyone, it should be even more easy just asking for input on weapons.
