Will we see an upgrade to the next gen experience next season? I play Apex on PS5 and it runs great, but I feel like more could be done to fully utilize the consoles capabilities. I understand this is the first time in a while consoles are ahead of the devs. I think the main thing for me is 120+ FPS support on console. My system is set up on my desk and I use an Asus Tuff monitor to run the game. Any plans?

Hey, what I believe is the most current info on a potential 120FPS NGchange: "120 FPS is one of our goals and as we continue to look at NG features and balance between what we think is best for the overall player experience for NG, we're keeping this in mind. Can't promise anything but with the core mechanics "feel" of Apex being such an important piece of the player experience this one is high on the priority list." from here. And there's also this EA statement made late last year: emphasis is mine. "Apex Legends™ Respawn Entertainment is bringing Apex Legends to new platforms this year including the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This award-winning battle royale game that took the world by great surprise last year just launched Season 7 - Ascension yesterday with its third map, Olympus, a new Legend named Horizon, the introduction of vehicles, and much more. Next-gen players can expect a performance boost up to 1440p, with more formal enhancements planned for next year. Apex Legends will also support crossplay across PC via Origin™ and Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5."Past this, we will of course let folks know when we have any news on the subject.

From the new consoles 1440p at 120fps can be expected. Also removing aim assist would make is virtually impossible for controller player to play the game at a high level a controller just does not provide the motion required, a test was done a keyboard and mouse players still on average hit more shots so i really don't think aim assist is going anywhere

@rockyboy1998 They arent going to make game changes for new consoles only. What they will do it try and maximize the new consoles to make it more like options PC players have.

I don't think COVID has helped and that's why the consoles are ahead.

Yeah, having the 120 FPS will be great.

I would like to see a few things...
-Better graphics (enhancement like they did with GTA V)
-Better heirloom animations for certain legends
-More customisation options
-Obviously a look at the SBMM

Season 2 i made it to pred on 60 fps. Its over rated. =D

@hayhor They have made changes just to cater to other platforms.

Look at bangs smoke nerf. This nerf was only made because switch pixels couldnt handle it.

@hayhor Ahh, that makes sense.

I did read somewhere the the graphics were going to get slightly better but I'm not sure if that's just because the next generation consoles are more powerful.
