So this is pretty random but a league that our high school competes in does 3v3 TDM. But in private matches we have been running out of time and ending in ties. The game seems to choose a winner but we were curious if anyone knows how the game chooses to break a tie in Team Deathmatch private matches. Or is it a coin flip?
I guess that is what we will have to do.
Seems like it should be pretty easy to figure out if you keep data on all the matches. Another possiblity is which team made the final kill before the timer ran out.
edit - I also wonder whether there is a way to change the ruleset so that there is no timer?
True but the testing will take a full 45 minutes to find out. If you don't reach the score then it takes like 45 minutes to time out. But, I think that will be the only way to know. They thought about a tie breaker match but a best of 3 already takes up to 1.5 hours since private matches don't let you set a max kill count or custom time limit.
Can you maybe change the ruleset to lower the winning score?
