4 girls, 1 man and 1 bot

I don't know you, but I really want to have more playable (free) men. Yes, bloodhunt is a girl, that's what they say on the description of its ultimate when you play the spanish version of the game: "You become a ***huntress***"

I don't know if it's a translation error or not, but it doesn't look like so.
I know you wanna be a "cool feminist enterprise", EA, but seriously? Even the only playable man when you start is gay and non-occidental... So much of a representation of your playerbase... Not even 1 straight occidental man. And don't get me wrong, i like playing the actual characters, but it doesn't mean I'm going to be happy with this behavior you're having.

Thank you for clarifying that for me, all I saw were 7 constantly sloshing around meat bags and 1 Robot programmed to be disgustingly friendly to those same meat bags.

The Bloodhound bio doesn't refer to their gender, so it is a poorly done translation.
The first new character is released with Season 1, so I guess you'll just have to hope it's a heterosexual Western looking male character.

You watch, the next character will be a strong buff man, the embodiment of the coolest manliest of men. Everyone will think he's great and play him constantly then we will find out couple years later he was actually gay all along.

You know they all have multiple lines you can listen to. Doesnt sound female at all

ITT: Where's my Generic 30 year old White Guy that's in literally every modern fps?

I love the colourful personalities of the cast of characters in apex, gender doesn't matter as you can't sleep with them, and sexuality does not matter as it isn't in your face.

We had a conversation on the forums about this already and my response actually got deleted, without any explanation and no wrong doing on my part. Anyway, the developers did this intentionally, they are trying to push diversity. There is an article which stated this. While there is nothing wrong with that, their target market, being a American company, is white males. You would think, the majority of the characters in the game will be white males. No, instead they add two black females, is the vast minority. Again, it's fine, but with a small pool of heroes, you'd think that's kinda pushing it. Also while they push this, they also make the healer a girl, so much for being progressive.

To be fair, also in my language, EA people wrote "she is blabla" for Bloodhound in the Legend page.
Bad translation? Maybe so.
