A Different Perspective
We all hate cheaters yes i know. We wish there was none. Let's look at something here that a lot want to throw them under the bus for. With this ill be doing a comparison across many other games. Just to show people no matter the money made nothing can stop this problem. Yes Apex legends has made 2b in 2 years. It is a bit of money. Now lets compare.
GTA
First We have GTA 5 this game was launched in 2013. GTA 5 is third on the list of the best-selling video games of all time, only behind Minecraft and Tetris. Reports from Business Insider suggest that Rockstar Games made upwards of $6 billion from GTA 5, selling more than 110 million copies.
Call of Duty
Call of Duty' series has made over $27billion for Activision since 2003.
Fortnite
It managed to garner an addition 95 million users within the next 15 months. In March 2019, the game had more than 125 million players. Till date, 2018 has proved to be the most successful year for Fortnite, with earnings of more than $2.4 Billion in total.Fortnite creator Epic Games is now valued at $17.3 billion.
Valorant
The game has reportedly generated $20 billion in revenue over its lifetime. A member of Gen. G's "League of Legends" team practices ahead of a match.
With these comparisons we see that apex stands no chance in terms of revenue brought in from the time games launch. All of these games have cheaters. Some of these games came out in 2013 meaning cheating has been happening in said games for over 8 years now. If companies who make more money then apex can not stop cheaters what makes you think apex can. Those games have way more revenue then apex is even worth. Yet still have cheaters.
Moral of the story here. No one can stop them no matter the amount of money a company makes.
