A "good" news for false ban players.
The official stance has been acknowledged as having issues with the anti-cheat system, and they are reviewing historical data to investigate other false bans.
This confirms the anti-cheat glitch that has been speculated about by the player community. Since the anti-cheat detection model was updated at the end of last year, more and more normal players have become victims.
However, based on my preconceived notions about EA, I still feel it's best not to have too high hopes. I don't know if the official team will actually review historical data. Even if they are, I'm unsure how far they'll go. I was wrongfully banned last December, and I'm worried my case might not be retroactively reviewed.
But at least for now, this is some consolation for players who have been false banned.
