@apostolateofDOOM It was a suggestion to the devs, i'll modify my post to make it clearer.
@Cro_Pittt I agree it should be in there imo but maybe they want you to work certain things out for yourself.
Do you jump at the fastest time to location or hold back slightly to see where others are going and maybe change course?
- DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)@apostolateofDOOM It depends on numerous factors for me. Is this ranked or PUBS? Am I having a bad night? Then I’m going to jump far. If everything is going well I pick a place that will let us jump 400m out. I only change course if an excessive number of teams land there or more than one pred squad is going there. Nothing like dropping to an area that has 3 predator squads.
- 6 years ago@DarthValtrex I'm usually patient and see where the hot spots are but once I go I'll commit to the jump in any mode even if multiple other teams follow but in ranked getting those early kills can set you up for the remainder of the match and keeps me on my toes.
I understand the grievance though, I had a 600 kill caustic JM a couple days ago jump as soon as the timer got to zero coming over the new area of skull town and tried gliding to artillery.. Randoms never cease to amaze me.- DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)@apostolateofDOOM I jump solo with randoms and telL them to ping a location. I’ll go there. If they don’t ping solo I ping something and go to that location.

@apostolateofDOOM It depends of the situation. Usually i jump at the fastest/optimal time, so i know that at worst i'll get there in a similar time of other teams. Before that though, if i am JM i usually avoid the hottest zones, but if see that maybe one team went for it at best i'll do the same, even if they have a slight advantage in terms of time. Just not going for their same building is good. Of course sometimes when i choose a location it can happen that there are other 2-3 teams as well but you know, it's a BR. Problem is when people lack of common sense. Example: dropship goes from gauntlet to slum lakes. My teammate pings the Rig, he wants to go there. That made me a bit meh, because that would put us very far from the main action, but i'll stick with him, i'm not that toxic player that goes by himself leaving the team, even if i don't agree with their choices. Problem is he started dropping when we were above gauntlet, literally at the opposite corner of the map. Result? Landed in a no-man's zone between Cage and Capacitor--->bad loot.
I know that people should understand it by themself but if after more than a year i still see these things maybe it just won't work this way. 🤨
