Abandonment Penalty Idea (Apex Legends Season 9 Ranked)

If a player is in a (Ranked game) AP should not be administered to said player if the squad from the start is a player down. Ex. 2/3 players from the start of game. Hence, I left two games, back to back, because the squad was 1/3 or 2/3. I shouldn’t have a penalty if I leave the game... if we aren’t losing points and there’s a forgiveness system. It would be ideal to also allow players to leave prior to drop and receive no penalty. Thank you for your time. I feel this should improve the ranked play.
