About this aim assist
How does it work? Do they literally have to aim near their target and the assist helps them move the crosshairs onto the enemy? If so, how ballanced is to need less effort to keep your crosshair on ...

@damsonwhufndthis AA (aim assist) does point for you nor control recoil for you. What it does is slow down you sensitivity when your reticle is is near an opponent. Others might have a better explanation for you.
The best way to know is to try it out for yourself on PC. I'll give you a hint, if controller is so strong then I would have boasted that I have a 4k badge on multiple legends which I have none (My best was 3.8k on Octane). None of the console teams even made it into the ALGS like what others have reported. Remember, there's always a reason why you died and it's rare to see someone just accept that the enemy is just better. People would usually blame lag, the servers, controllers, the map (like me lol), and other stuff. 😉

- @Cheese9Man Exactly! Not a single console team with strikepacks made it into the ALGS and pc players keep saying they get destroyed all the time by console players on their pc lobbys while there are very few console players in pc lobbys!!! Its exactly the opposite! PC players have many advantages; aiming with a mouse is easier, deathbox strafing only on pc, higher fps (up to 300 fps!!!) The privileged keeps on whining, it kills me.
- @Palette24carats in my opinion you and @Cheese9Man can't compare ALGS with ranked or public games most of us are playing daily.
ALGS require one set of skills and they are on a totally different level - none (a few) use Revtain combo there, not to mention that no one dares to jumpad the whole team into close quarter battle after first hit shot from the distance.
Ranked and daily gaming - people are just sick of players who let's be honest possess close to 0 skill yet over and over again (again sure due to various reasons particular team is playing not ideall) get away with pushing gun into your face and landing 3 shots with Wingman or Eva or a full mag of R-99.

A clear example in my opinion of what most of us associate the term "controller player" with. I hope I don't need to analyse this video in detail to point out all aspects of it and you will get/understand what I am talking about here just from watching.- @Eshshshss I'll need an explanation on that video or that's 5 minutes of my time wasted.
